I'm London Newton, and I am Black, queer, and neurodivergent, these experiences greatly inform my work!

My core belief revolves around the idea that the personal is political, and I strive to embody this ethos through my roles as a doula, caregiver, and anti-oppression educator. I view spaces for conversation and community as fertile ground where we can plant the seeds of paradigm change, healing, and liberation.

I see birth, postpartum, and abortion work as avenues for building community networks, practicing bodily autonomy, and breaking generational curses. Supporting individuals through education, birth, postpartum, abortion, herbal care, and babies are all powerful tools towards our collective liberation.

Testimonials

“...challenged me to build a more inclusive practice, accessible to ALL folks that need lactation support. I can honor support the journey of birthing and breastfeeding women while also honoring the journeys of birthing and chestfeeding folks that hold other identities. I can call on the wisdom of the ancestors while also taking advantage of modern technologies that allow non-lactating parents and adoptive parents to participate in breast/chest feeding.

And I can confront my mistakes and grow as an individual & small business owner."

Nurse after a Queer Inclusivity Training

"THANK YOU for such an amazing event this week! (Name Redacted) has been on cloud nine ever since—just being surrounded by people who get them and accept them has done wonders for their wellbeing. And you are such an awesome facilitator! You were so great at explaining concepts and engaging the kids, and very skillful at calling out problematic statements without making kids feel embarrassed."
